A Cap for Nessa's Mother

When I started working at Rosie's in 2001 I found this strange pattern among Lisa's papers in the office. It was written for a customer's mother who had made a similar from a pattern and yarn purchased at Wanamakers years previously (when there was a Wanamakers, and they had a wool department, just to give you an idea of how long ago this was) and no longer had the pattern. Lisa took a look at the construction and wrote up this little gem, which has been one of my favorites since. Knit in Manos Silk Blend, or any yarn that you can get 6 sts per inch with.
