Undyed, minimally processed, natural right-off-the-sheep wool! Which is what everyone used to say about Candide, only this one is soft. It's also got a remarkable amount of bounce: not stretchy like some merinos, exactly, but when you squeeze the skein, it feels springy and cushy rather than dense. It's a fairly loose ply, but it's giving great definition in cables (see below). At this gauge, two skeins will make a sweater--an amazing value!

100% peruvian highland wool, 437m / 478 yards, 250g / 8.75 oz, 3 1/2 sts per inch.
