Like the original Inca, Inca Marl is 100% alpaca at 5 sts to the inch on a US #6. The difference is that each of the 3 component plies is a different color. The result is a yarn with a barber-pole effect, and a fabric with a very small-scale, even, allover tweedy effect. Great for all kinds of warm winter accessories, and for simple, luxurious soft sweaters.
