P.S. Every now and then you hear a rumor that angora yarn involves dead rabbits. Nonsense! Angora rabbits, like sheep, grow hair all over. And like sheep, they're more comfortable when it's removed periodically. They'll shed, or people harvest the fur by combing or clipping. One rabbit can shed 4 oz. of fiber every 3 months--an enormous amount, considering its size. If you've ever seen someone spinning angora fiber right from the bunny (and I have), you'll know the bunny doesn't mind a bit.
