Merino Silk is miraculous stuff--even thinner than Zephyr, with a more even, polished twist. And like so many ultra-thin yarns, the value is almost ridiculous: 1533 yards per 100 grams for $16.50 (plus $1 shipping, but still). 70% merino wool, 30% silk, in colors to make a wardrobe of shawls--or did someone suggest plying three strands together for a fingering-weight?
