Anne
One of the Cellar's all time favorites. This yarn began as a sock yarn, given it's superwash wool, merino and nylon content, but it quickly became a favorite for shawls of all kinds. Courtney's Parthneope is done in Anne, as are numerous Half-Pi Shawls and Perfect Pi Shawls (from Weekend Knitting). Schaefer Yarns great colorways really shine in this yarn. Always lots in stock.
Elaine
Another best seller at the Cellar. Elaine is great for last minute scarves, one skein will do it with a bit left over for a matching hat or mittens. But, by far, the favorite Elaine project around here is the Elaine Hooded Baby Jacket.
Esperanza
Esperanza, 70% lambswool and 30% alpaca, is a lofty and soft 2 ply bulky available in the same 30 colors as Elaine.
Miss Priss
A worsted weight 100% merino makes this a versatile and useful yarn, but it's available in the 30 wool colorways. Try it in Huck or Wendy for a great kids garment.
Shokay Yak
Shokay is 100% Tibetan yak down, fairly manufactured, traded and imported. It's as soft as cashmere without the high price. This yarn knits at 4.5-4sts per inch. Perfect for quick holiday gifts, like this great his and hers hat set.

Happy Hippie is a lovely hand-dyed soy silk roving for your spinning pleasure. Stop in to see what's available, this doesn't stay on the shelf very long and we only order twice a year at the TNNA show. Shipments usually arrive in late August and late March. 
A locally produced alpaca and wool blend from Fairthorn Farm in Chester County. Think of it as your duty to the environment to knit with this yarn. It has all the appeal of a rustic wool, but with alpaca softness. Knit yourself a big cosy Gansey. Winter will thank you.
Terra is a great all around luxury yarn. Perfect for sweaters, gifts, and something every knitter needs in the stash. 60% merino, 20% baby alpaca and 20% silk. The yarn takes the dyes in a complex manner, due to the different fibers, and the result is deep and complicated--reminiscent of irridescent sari fabrics. A must have. 
A laceweight natural alpaca and dyed Shetland wool, this yarn is great for shawls as it has tons of yardage and the drape that the alpaca gives it is to die for. Come in and see what's in stock.
